Beta Tester Update - 7th December 2007

We have become aware of some intermittent issues with the .com site. Some users may encounter server error and page cannot be displayed messages. The problems are caused by the site responding slowly to page requests and game loading requests. The site is functional and you can play games, send challenges, receive challenges and have fun. However, in some circumstances pages and games may take a little longer to load than normal.

Unfortunately these are not issues that we will be able to resolve during this round of beta testing so we would appreciate your patience and understanding during this weekend’s testing.

For those of you who are not experiencing these difficulties you might want to
drop into the CBC Web Event, details of which can be found at www.uVmeevents.com

uVme Games Feedback from This Week’s Second Place Winner

I have to admit I was on the fence about the uVme product for quite some time. Playing the games over the weekend as a beta-tester has been the clincher.

First-hand I have seen the appeal of the uVme concept, as I played for four hours straight, watching my test funds grow along with my scores. The games are easy to learn and captivating.

I have invited a couple of my top marketing friends to join uVme and will be sending invitations to them to join the beta-test group next week. I can’t wait to share my newly found enthusiasm.

After three years as an online marketer, I have become extremely skeptical and choosy with what I choose to promote. I am not an easy canditate to sign up and often hang around testing the waters without ever diving in. However, once I make the decision to proceed I do so 100%. uVme is my new focus. You got me!

I was surprised to learn I did so well in the games. It was easy to do, considering how fun and addicting they are…

Travelling uVme Associate Dan Welstead

Independent uVme Associate Dan Welstead is off on his “gap year” travels around the world… building his uVme team as he goes.

In some ways it is a bad time for him to go (he will miss the launch etc.), but in others it may be good for him, as he can recruit people to his team from all around the world!

Dan and his partner Fiona took some uVme t-shirts and “foam hands” with them on their travels, and they will be sending reports from the field as well as photos of the foam hands (like the one above) back to uVme as they go. Dan also has his own travel blog where he is keeping a diary of his trip, and a Facebook profile where he is keeping extra foam hand photos!

Dan and Fiona started out in started out in Sevenoaks, Kent (UK) and their first port of call was California, USA (where the photo above was taken - in San Francisco, with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background). They are now travelling around Australia, and over the next year their travels will take them far and wide, to many different countries.

Dan says, “I have talked to a good number of people about uVme, as I always wear a uVme t-shirt every day and have a few pocket pitches with me… I have got over 2,600 in my team now!“
